Baygon is a brand of household insecticides with roots in German chemistry: launched in 1967 by Bayer, it was acquired in 2003 by SC Johnson & Son, a family-owned American multinational that has been active for over a century. Even after the change of ownership, the active ingredients of the products continue to be supplied by Bayer to SC Johnson, ensuring a formulation continuity established over time.
